How many marks did Mark Zuckerberg get in SAT?
In 2018, Mark Zuckerberg took the SAT. A few websites say that Mark scored a perfect 1600 out of 1600 and other websites say that he got 1590 out of 1600, putting him in the 99.96 percentile. Mark Zuckerberg’s SAT score puts him in the top 1% of students who have taken the test. This means that Mark Zuckerberg, the co-founder of Facebook, scored an almost perfect score as a young man. According to The New Yorker, Zuckerberg’s score was so high because he had taken advanced math courses in high school and college. His father also said that he wanted his children to read at night because he wanted them to be able to handle anything that came their way in life.
Mark Zuckerberg, C.E.O. of Facebook, is a very smart guy and a very rich one, and he has a knack for getting other people to pay for his smarts. So it’s no surprise that he scored so well on the Scholastic Assessment Test. The test is administered by the College Board and dates back to 1945, when it was used as part of a national exam for high school students in America. Today the test is given to about 1.1 million students yearly at over 2,000 schools across the country.

What is the SAT?
The Scholastic Assessment Test (S.A.T.) is a standardized test in the United States used for college admissions. The S.A.T. is administered to high school students by the College Board. It’s designed to measure how well students have learned basic skills and concepts from their school classes. The test consists of two sections: reading and math. It was developed by the Educational Testing Service (E.T.S.), a private non-profit organization that still administers it and many other tests used for admission to educational institutions in the U.S. and abroad. The score on an S.A.T. ranges from 400 to 1600 points, with each section worth up to 200 points; hence, the total score can range from 600 to 2400 points. The total score of 1600 represents an average composite performance across all test sections.
In the SAT you’ll be asked to read and interpret passages in academic texts as well as know grammar rules and high school math (the SAT doesn’t have calculus or precalculus math questions though). The breakdown looks like this:
- Reading comprehension: 1 hour and 35 minutes
- Writing: 50 minutes
- Mathematics (another section): 75 minutes
