Ivy League SAT Scores

Ivy League SAT scores are slightly different than what is expected for other universities. The average SAT scores at Ivy League schools are higher than at most colleges and universities in the country

 But what’s the actual average SAT score for each of the Ivy Leagues and what is the 25th percentile and 75th percentile for each one? In this article, we’ll look at where each Ivy League school ranks in terms of these and how their scores compare to one another and the rest of American colleges and universities. By the way, 25th percentile refers to the lowest SAT score that these Ivy League colleges tend to admit, and 75th percentile refers to the highest SAT score that they tend to admit. In this post, I have tables for each of the Ivy League that has 25% and 75% percentile for each section (math and reading) as well as 25% and 75% percentile for the composite SAT score (so math and reading combined)

Brown University | Ivy League Sat Scores

Brown University is a private Ivy League research university located in Providence, Rhode Island.

Founded in 1764 as the College of Rhode Island, it is the seventh-oldest institution of higher education in New England, and one of the original nine Colonial Colleges chartered before the American Revolution. Brown has historical strengths in English literature and North Atlantic history; it was one of the first American colleges to be named after an Englishman (city founder Nicholas Brown). 

The university is organized into ten undergraduate schools: academic affairs/student life; arts & sciences; engineering/computer science; management only for undergraduates or for both undergraduates and graduate students); public health; international studies only for graduate students); financial services only for undergraduate students); social work (only available on campus through the School of Professional Studies).

Several publications have ranked Brown University among the top 10 best universities worldwide, including U.S. News World Report’s “Best Global Universities Rankings,” Q.S. Columbia University | Ivy League Sat Scores

  • Columbia University is a private Ivy League research university in Upper Manhattan, New York City.
  • It was established in 1754 as King’s College by the royal charter of George II of Great Britain, making it the oldest institution of higher learning in New York and the fifth oldest in the United States.
  • Columbia is one of nine colonial colleges founded before the Declaration of Independence that is now called Ivy League universities. Here are the SAT scores for the 25th percentile, 75th percentile, and the average SAT score for Columbia University:

Cornell University | Ivy League Sat Scores

Cornell University is a private Ivy League research university in Ithaca, New York. Cornell was founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White. 

It was the first institution of higher learning to grant M.D., L.H.D., and Ph.D. degrees and one of the first U.S. universities to have undergraduate departments for studying multiple scientific disciplines. The university has been coeducational since its founding, though some women were previously admitted on an experimental basis under the title “Ladies Course.”

Cornell received its name through Ezra Cornell’s $500 endowment to establish a school .

Where anyone could find instruction in any study he or she chose without cost or restriction based on race or religion; it was intended that all students would benefit from such access regardless of their financial situation. Harvard University

Harvard University is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It was founded in 1636 as the first college in America. Harvard is one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious colleges, with an average S.A.T. score of 2120 out of 2400 for admitted freshmen. 

The school’s mission statement says: “Harvard College seeks to educate leaders who will make a difference in their communities, our nation and the world by creating a vibrant learning community that inspires innovation, discovery and generosity.” Its motto is Veritas (truth), meaning truthfulness or honesty.

Harvard University has an acceptance rate of 5%, meaning that only 5% of all applicants are accepted yearly! The average A.C.T. score at Harvard University is 33; the average G.P.A. is 4.35; the high school class ranks 93%. If you have an A.C.T. score above 30 and a G.P.A. over 4.0 (including A.P. courses), then your chances are even better! Even if your scores aren’t perfect, there are other factors we can look at when trying to decide whether or not you should apply. Extracurricular activities like leadership positions on sports teams or volunteer work experience are also considered heavily during admissions decisions. Because they demonstrate qualities like leadership potential and ability to work well with others (which could help explain why companies hire people even though their official educational qualifications don’t seem so impressive). Princeton University

Princeton University is located in Princeton, New Jersey. The university was founded in 1746 and had a maximum score of 1600 on its S.A.T. Students who applied to Princeton typically had an average S.A.T. score of 1480, making it a highly selective school.

The University of Pennsylvania

To get into the University of Pennsylvania, you’ll need to take the S.A.T. The average S.A.T. score at UPenn is 1470/1600.

The A.C.T. score that students need to get in ranges from 28-32.

Students have an average G.P.A. of 3.9 at UPenn.

Tuition for the 2018-2019 school year is $64,480 for in-state students and $69,010 for out-of-state students (as of July 1).

Yale University

Yale University is a private Ivy League research university located in New Haven, Connecticut. Established in 1701. Yale is the third-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and one of the nine colonial colleges chartered before the American Revolution. The undergraduate program at Yale University consists of over 50 majors, minors and concentrations. Students may also design their own major with faculty approval.
