Hallie Biden Personal Life

In 1998, Hallie began dating her childhood friend, Joseph Robinette “Beau” Biden III, who was working as a federal prosecutor in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. The couple became engaged during a family Thanksgiving celebration in Nantucket and married in 2002. They had two children: daughter Natalie Naomi Biden and son Robert Hunter Biden II. They lived in Wilmington, Delaware, while Beau served as the Attorney General of Delaware.

In 2015, Hallie’s husband died from glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer. After Beau’s death, she maintained a close relationship with the Biden family, encouraging her father-in-law to run in the 2016 presidential election and consulting him before the launch of his 2020 presidential campaign.

In 2016, Hallie started a relationship with Hunter Biden, her late husband’s brother. Hunter was going through a separation from his wife, Kathleen Buhle, at the time. Hallie and Hunter moved to Annapolis, Maryland, with her children. However, they ended their relationship in 2019, and in March of that year, The Key School filed a lawsuit against Hallie for failing to pay $55,740 in tuition for her two children for the 2018–2019 school year.

Hallie Biden’s involvement with Hunter’s firm

Hallie was on Hunter’s company payroll and indirectly received thousands of dollars from his suspect Chinese ventures. Subpoenaed bank records showed that Hunter’s business partner and family friend wired her $35,000 around the time he received $3 million from their Chinese business partners. DailyMail.com also exclusively revealed material from Hunter’s abandoned laptop laying bare Hallie’s involvement with Hunter’s firm, Rosemont Seneca.

Hallie’s struggles with drug addiction

The messages and videos from Hunter’s laptop reveal that Hallie was also in the throes of addiction during her controversial relationship with Hunter. In a January 2019 phone call Hunter recorded with Hallie, she begged him to come and take drugs with her, telling him: “I’m going to use regardless, but I would rather use with you.” Hunter videoed himself having another phone call with Hallie in which she asked him to get drugs for her.

Impersonation Controversy

In August 2022, an imposter Twitter account pretending to be Hallie Biden tweeted that “President Trump won that election and my entire family knows it.” However, Hallie’s spokesperson stated that the account was run by an imposter and not by Biden.

Conclusion

Hallie Biden’s life has been marked by tragedy and personal struggles, but she has also shown resilience and determination in her career and her commitment to the Beau Biden Foundation For the Protection of Children. Despite the controversies surrounding her personal life, Hallie continues to work as a school counselor and non-profit executive, making a positive impact on the lives of children and families in need.
